Q. I'm aware Hip-hop/rap has been around since the 80's but now a days it's gone too far. Rappers seem to be selling out to stereotypes to make money. Do you think that the rap videos and hip hop culture are just like the minstrel shows of the 1930's?

A. depends on your perspective i guess. but i agree that it's getting absurd and it is all profoundly negative. check this out as a historical reference point: but i don't think anyone was modeling themselves after that charector.
