Why do people who pride themselves on living in a free country try to force others to live the way they live?
Q. There are sooo many rude, hateful people who mistreat others simply because they look, speak, behave, think differently. What's the point of living in a free country if you want everyone to do things exactly the way you do them all the time? There's a lot of little Hitlers out there. Why? Is there a pill that can be created to stop this madness?

What is the law for living in a 1 bedroom apartment in LA county?
Q. My g/f and I have been living with my friend and his b/f for a couple months trying to get money together to move. The landlord said we have to leave by the end of the month or they will lose the apartment. He said there is some law that only two adults and one child can legally live in a one bedroom apartment, but I can't find that law anywhere. Does anyone have a link or a site I can use to find something more concrete?

A. Whether or not there is a law is irrelevant. What that landlord is really saying is these people aren't on the lease and I object. Instead of looking like a jerky landlord I am going to make up some bogus law to get these people out of my building. They absolutely can loose the apartment if you are staying there and are not on the lease.

Is a Living Trust still important when your assets are under a loss?
Q. With the current housing bust, the main asset our house (in my name only) is losing value day by day. And I still have not signed up for a Living Trust to help transfer my assets to my wife and children. Now I'm wondering if by signing a Living Trust I'll put undue financial burden on my wife who is currently not working. Also I want to make sure the money in the Life Insurance, Savings Account,401k and the cars go to my wife if I die. Do I still need a Living Trust for these? Can I hold off on a Living Trust until my main asset gains value? What are the risks? Just clarifying ... I totally understand the benefits of a Living Trust. My question is whether I delay getting a Living Trust until my main asset really acquires some value.
